Digital marketing · India

Marketing you can
actually audit.

SEO, Google and Meta ads, social and content — delivered as defined milestones you approve and pay against, not an open-ended monthly retainer that quietly renews. You always know what was shipped, and what it cost.

01 — What we do

Four channels,
run properly.

We would rather run two channels well than six badly. Every engagement starts by deciding which of these actually deserves your budget — and saying so if one of them does not.

SEO

Technical fixes, on-page work, content structure, local and maps visibility, and the links that come from being worth citing.

SEO services →

Paid ads

Google Search, Performance Max, Meta and YouTube — built around intent, measured on cost per qualified action rather than impressions.

Paid ads →

Social media

Calendars, creative, community management and paid amplification on the two or three platforms your buyers actually use.

Social media →

Content

Blogs, landing pages, product copy, email and video scripts written to answer real buying questions, not to hit a word count.

Content marketing →

Analytics & tracking

GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager, call and form tracking, and a definition of a conversion that everyone agrees on before anything is spent.

Landing pages & CRO

Pages built to convert the traffic you are already paying for — usually the cheapest improvement available to a campaign.

Local & marketplace

Google Business Profile, review generation, directory hygiene, and listing quality on Amazon, Flipkart and JustDial where relevant.

02 — The difference

Milestones,
not retainers.

Most agencies bill a fixed monthly fee whether or not the month produced anything. We scope work into milestones with named deliverables, dates and a price. You approve the milestone, we ship it, you sign it off, we invoice it.

See the full method
The usual retainer
  • Fixed fee whether or not work shipped
  • Scope negotiated after the invoice
  • Auto-renews until you actively cancel
  • Reporting written to justify the fee
  • Ad accounts owned by the agency
  • Three-month lock-in as standard
  • Exit means losing your data and history
The Akontec model
  • Priced per milestone, with a deliverable list
  • Scope agreed in writing before work starts
  • Next milestone is a decision, not a default
  • Raw platform data shared, not a filtered summary
  • Ad accounts created and owned by you
  • No lock-in beyond the current milestone
  • Everything handed over on exit, in your accounts
40/40/20payment split across scope, delivery and sign-off
4–6 wkstypical length of a delivery milestone
0lock-in beyond the milestone you approved
100%of accounts and data owned by you
03 — Planning aid

Where would your
budget actually go?

A rough starting split by objective, to help you size a business case before you speak to anyone. It is a planning aid built on common working splits — not a recommendation for your business, which needs a conversation first.

Budget here means total marketing spend. Media spend goes to Google or Meta from your own account; our fee is the separate, agreed milestone amount.

04 — How it runs

Five steps, every time.

Nothing improvised. The same sequence for a local clinic and a national eCommerce brand — only the scale of each milestone changes.

Discovery and audit

What you sell, who buys it, what you have tried, and what the data already says. We look at the site, the accounts, the analytics and the competition before proposing anything.

Week 1

Scope and milestone plan

A written scope: channels, deliverables, dates, owners, the milestone price and what success will be measured on. Approved before any work begins.

Week 1–2

Foundation

Tracking, tagging, conversion definitions, account structure and technical fixes. Unglamorous, and the reason later reporting can be trusted.

Week 2–4

Build and launch

Pages, campaigns, creative, content and landing pages go live on the agreed date, with a written launch note covering what changed and why.

Week 4–6

Optimise, report, decide

Fortnightly optimisation, a monthly report with the raw numbers, and an explicit decision at milestone close about whether to continue, change or stop.

Ongoing
05 — Reporting

The numbers you get
are the numbers we use.

You receive access to your own GA4, Search Console and ad accounts on day one. Our monthly report interprets that data — it does not replace it. If a month went badly, the report says so on the first page.

  • Read access to every platform account, always
  • Monthly report: what we did, what happened, what changed
  • Movement attributed honestly, including to seasonality and luck
  • An explicit “what we got wrong” section every month

“A report written to protect the fee is not a report.”

Akontec reporting principle, applied on every digital engagement.

06 — Sectors

Where we have run campaigns before

Sector familiarity shortens the audit and sharpens the keyword and creative work. It is helpful, not essential.

07 — Before you brief anyone

What we will not promise.

Every proposal we issue carries this section. Ask the same questions of whoever else you are speaking to.

  • We will not guarantee a #1 ranking, a fixed traffic number or a specific ROAS. Nobody controls the auction or the algorithm.
  • We will not promise results in the first month of an SEO engagement. Three to six months is the honest window for most sites.
  • We will not buy links, run private blog networks, or use tactics that put your domain at risk.
  • We will not take ownership of your ad accounts, pixels or domains.
  • We will not recommend a channel that your budget cannot support properly.

All questions
How is a milestone engagement different from a monthly retainer?

A retainer bills a fixed amount every month regardless of output. A milestone has a written deliverable list, a date and a price agreed before work starts. You pay 40% to begin, 40% on delivery and 20% on sign-off. If a milestone is not delivered, it is not billed, and continuing to the next one is an active decision rather than an automatic renewal.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and you should treat anyone who does with suspicion. Nobody outside Google controls the ranking algorithm. We commit to the work — the technical fixes, the content, the coverage — and report movement honestly, including when it goes the wrong way.

Who owns the ad accounts and the data?

You do, always. Accounts are created in your name with your billing, and we work inside them with delegated access. If the engagement ends, we simply lose access — nothing moves, nothing is lost, and there is no data hostage situation.

Is ad spend included in your fee?

No. Media spend goes directly from you to Google or Meta on your own card or credit line. Our milestone fee covers strategy, build, management, creative and reporting, and is invoiced separately so you can see exactly what each is costing.

How soon will we see results?

Paid ads can produce measurable data within days, though a stable cost per lead usually takes four to six weeks of testing. SEO is slower: three to six months for most sites, longer in competitive national categories. Anyone quoting faster is guessing.

What is the minimum engagement?

One milestone. Most clients start with a foundation milestone of four to six weeks, see how the working relationship feels, and then decide about the next one.
